Can you tell us a little more about your work as a masseuse in an erotic massage parlor?

I have been working in an erotic massage parlor for a few years now. It is a job that is mysterious for many people, but for me it is a profession in which I can help my clients relax and offer a little happiness. And first of all, of course, it just makes super good money.

Stacey, how did you get into the business of erotic massage?

I had a hard time making ends meet. I had jobs, but I wasn't earning enough to pay the rent, buy groceries and do fun things like vacations or days out in addition to that. Life just got too expensive. I didn't study so the great jobs weren't there for the taking. Every month it was a struggle to make ends meet, which is a terrible feeling to have to live like that. Eventually I got into the business through a friend who was already an erotic masseuse.

Did you have to learn massage training to become an erotic masseuse?

I received short in-house training at Yu&Mi. This basically means that I spent a week with an experienced masseuse. She taught me (literally and figuratively) all the tricks of the trade. Of course you have to be able to massage well but it's also about the whole game around it. Teasing the client, starting quietly until slowly working towards the 'climax'. After a few days I had enough confidence to do it 100% on my own. After a while you develop your own style of erotic massage. After this, it only got easier and more fun.

What specifically is an erotic massage about?

Combining tension with relaxation. You want the client to be at ease, this will make him much more relaxed, so he will enjoy the massage much more intensely. When a client is at ease, I am more at ease myself. You therefore start building the connection already when introducing yourself to the client. First, to just be friendly and polite. Over time you learn to read men, so to speak. You approach a man in a way that you think will make him feel most comfortable. If it is a quiet man he gets a very quiet but exciting massage. If it is a busy/attentive man I become dominant and make him quiet and let him clearly feel that I am the boss!"

What do you think are the benefits of working in an erotic massage parlor?

One of the biggest advantages is the flexibility of the job. I can set my own hours, which gives me the freedom to find a good work-life balance. In addition, I earn a super good income, especially since I have many regular clients. The satisfaction I get from helping people relax and release stress is also a big plus. Many of my regular clients also come by for the social aspect. A lot of men just like to have a good time. You should know what we all talk about in the Jacuzzi.

Are there any drawbacks to this work?

There are certainly challenges, too. Physically, it's quite demanding work. You're obviously moving around a lot while giving body-to-body massages and some clients want to be massaged a little more firmly. I look at it positively, I see it as a good cardio work out! I don't have to go to the gym next to my job. That's different with many jobs, of course. Dealing with clients who want to push the boundaries of massage is also a challenge. Fortunately, most clients are respectful, but it sometimes happens that someone tries to push the limit, and then you have to be firm and be able to indicate where your limits are.

Do you have any tips for others considering working in an erotic massage parlor?

Yes, definitely. First of all, make sure you are really comfortable with the work. This is not a job you should do if you don't fully support it. You need to be firm in your feet and know where your limits are. It is also important to take good care of yourself, both physically and mentally. Find a salon where you feel safe and supported, and don't be afraid to say no if something doesn't feel right. Communication with clients is also crucial - always be clear about what you do and don't offer.
